The Mars Polar Lander Has Arrived

On May 25 the first polar lander ever landed on mars in the history of the word it took 12 weeks for the poler lander to land on mars. The poler rocket got launched on February 2008. The polar lander landed on mars so they can test the soil and see if there is any water because if they find water then there could be life found on the planet Mars.

That is the best picture in the world of the surfaace of Mars.....it is very exciting that they landed on Mars....they shot it off just like your rocket (well, almost!) and the legs spread out and grasped the surfact of Mars so it could land. The scientists went to school and did their homework for years to learn how to shoot this rocket on Mars. I think it is wonderful that u have this on your website.
